Challenge "Thread"

This challenge was perhaps a bit more difficult -- to create an interesting, well lit and composed macro photo involving the subject "Thread".

We had 11 entries and voters were each allowed to vote for 2 separate entries. Two photos pulled away from the crowd in the voting --

the winner of our challenge with 18 votes from the 20 voters!
